We are pleased to welcome Dr. Rita Khoury, Adult and Geriatric Psychiatrist, to our team!

Dr. Khoury received her medical degree and completed her residency training in psychiatry at Saint Joseph University, Beirut. During her residency, she trained for a year at Sainte-Anne Hospital Center in Paris, with a focus on evaluating and managing adolescents and young adults at risk for psychosis. Additionally, she earned a diploma in geriatric psychiatry from Paris Descartes University.

Dr. Khoury also completed a 2-year fellowship training in geriatric psychiatry/neuropsychiatry at Saint Louis University, Missouri. 

Throughout her training, Dr. Khoury published multiple scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented at several international meetings. 

Dr. Khoury’s areas of expertise include neurocognitive disorders/dementias, late-life depression, delirium, psychiatry in long-term care settings, and adult and geriatric psychopharmacology.

Her research interests include behavioral symptoms in Alzheimer’s disease, and treatment of late-life mood disorders.
